Flow - Contemporary movement
The movement by Luis Marrafa, is supported by a layer of mechanical and organic processes that not only give rise to an abstraction movement of a structured discourse but also sketch a perspective between the functionality of the body and the effect of the technical application “dance technique”.
The music in relation with Movement - Phenomena that complete each other, has an essential aspect in his working process.
Bio - Luis Marrafa
Born and lived in Germany, moved to Portugal, passed through England and currently lives and works in Belgium, Brussels since 2009. Graduated at the Escola Superior de Dança in Lisbon. He’s the co-founder of the dance company MARRAFA and the dance studio StairCase.studio Brussels.
Luis creates and produces his own works as a choreographer, dancer and sound composer. He has been invited to various dance schools and professional companies as a dance teacher and choreographer.
